Job Summary

As the Branch Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our Ann Arbor, Michigan Office.  You will play a crucial role in ensuring the office functions in a smooth and productive manner.  Your attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to lead a team will be essential in maintaining the highest standard of efficiency and customer service. This is an in-person/on-site position.

Major Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Oversee the daily work of the processors and closers
  • Provide guidance, support, and training to colleagues
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations
  • Review and process title insurance orders ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Coordinate with underwriters, lenders, real estate agents, and others to facilitate smooth transactions
  • Handle overflow processing/closing activities; take an active role in day-to-day operations
  • Monitor offices expenses, inventory, and supplies
  • Develop relationships of trust with customers and colleagues
  • Motivate the team to maintain a reputation for delivering excellent customer service
  • Build and maintain a collaborative work environment that fosters great rapport with the sales team to achieve a mutual goal of branch growth
  • Analyze data, prepare and complete monthly reports, and provide regular updates to management
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in title insurance or a related field
  • Thorough understanding of title insurance processes, regulations, and best practices
  • Strong knowledge of real estate transactions and associated documentation
  • Excellent organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in using computer software and applications relevant to the industry; knowledge of ResWare is a plus
  • High level of integrity and a customer service-oriented mindset
  • Michigan Notary (within 60 days of employment)
  • Title license (preferred) If not licensed, will need to obtain in the first 90 days of employment
