Closing Officer – Peak Time

Job Overview:

The Peak Time Closing Officer performs closings as needed during peak closing times.  This is a flexible part-time position that pays per closing.

Major Duties and Responsibilities include:

• Reviews lender packages and instructions in preparation for closing
• Conducts closings for Real Estate transactions, including purchases and refinances
• Ensure all documents are properly executed
• Confirms all funding requirements are met
• Collection and disbursement of funds at the closing table for all types of purchase and refinance transactions
• Organize file for post-closing
• Travel to company offices and remote locations to conduct closings

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Licensed Notary Public
• Experience in the title insurance industry or a related industry, preferred, but not essential
• An image that displays confidence, helpfulness, and professionalism
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations
• The ability to function as a collaborator in a fast-paced environment
• Use Information Technology to save time
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications
• Candidate will need to obtain Michigan Resident Producer License within 3 months of hire date
