Title: Closing Coordinator

          Location: Rochester, MI

Major Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Determines escrow requirements by reviewing title reports and buyer, seller, realtor and lender instructions
  • Verifies taxes, assessments, water, and homeowner’s association dues
  • Reviews lender packages and instructions and organizes files for execution at closing
  • Confirms all funding requirements are met and file is in balance
  • Prepare Final Policies
  • Reviews lender’s instructions, executed closing documents, and funding requirements to organize file for disbursement
  • Answers routine customer service questions
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned


  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in the title insurance industry or a related industry, preferred
  • An image that displays confidence, helpfulness and professionalism
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • The ability to function as a team player in a fast paced environment
  • Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations
  • Use Information Technology to save time
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications
  • Candidate will need to obtain Michigan Resident Producer License within 4 months of hire date
